David Quessenberry Fighting for his Life

Check out this very detailed account of David Quessenberry’s fight against cancer from ESPN’s Tania Ganguli.  You can sense David’s courage & the tremendous support he’s gotten from the NFL community.  One of the things Quessenberry ended up doing over the course of the last few weeks was help present the Lombardi award to the best college football lineman in the country.  In a memorable speech, he said, “I’ve spent a lot of Saturdays in hospital rooms this year, and being able to watch you guys play has brought me great joy. I wish you guys long, healthy careers filled with great memories of dedication to your craft and service to your people. You guys have a bright future ahead.”
