——————————————————-
-
L.A. Rams – Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State
After moving to L.A. and trading the world for the top pick in the draft, the Rams will definitely be looking for a successful new beginning, starting with their QB of the future. Many arguments have been made between Carson Wentz and Jared Goff, but reports have been that Wentz is the guy for the Rams.
-
Cleveland Browns – Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss
The Browns greatly need OT help after losing Mitchell Schwartz to the Kansas City Chiefs. Tunsil is the best OT in the draft, and some consider him to be the best player in the draft. Although Cleveland needs a QB of the future, RGIII may actually work out well for them and he needs to be protected at the left-tackle position.
-
San Diego Chargers – DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
Coming out of Oregon’s 3-4 scheme, Buckner will fit right into San Diego’s defense better than any other player in the draft. His size, athleticism and speed will allow him to transition well in the NFL.
-
Dallas Cowboys – Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State
“America’s Team” needs a QB to backup and develop under Tony Romo, but are in a win now situation and cornerback is the biggest problem the Cowboys face. Ramsey is NFL ready and would allow last year’s first round pick Byron Jones to play safety where he is most comfortable. Plus, there is no way Cowboys owner Jerry Jones overlooks the comparisons of Ramsey and another great Florida State cornerback who once donned the legendary star on the side of his helmet.
-
Jacksonville Jaguars – Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
Gus Bradley is building a dominate defense in Jacksonville and Jack will fit right into the former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator’s scheme. Jack is explosive, versatile and his incredible athleticism allows him to play at any linebacker spot. With Jack’s help, Bradley will once again create a defense that no one wants to meet.
-
Baltimore Ravens – Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
The offensive line desperately needs help and Ronnie Stanley could be the beginning to stabilizing a struggling unit. Eugene Monroe is aging and Staley could possibly be his replacement. At the same time, Stanley is versatile enough to begin his career on the right side until that time comes.
-
San Francisco 49ers – Jared Goff, QB, Cal
With all the Kaepernick trade issues, it’s obvious that the 49ers will be looking for a quarter back sooner rather than later. Jared Goff’s mechanics are great and he is extremely accurate. Expect San Francisco to take a chance on the young signal caller.
-
Philadelphia Eagles – Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
After losing Demarco Murray to the Titans, the Eagles are left with the injury-prone Ryan Matthews and dangerous but undersized Darren Sproles. Elliot would improve this group of backs with his rare combination of speed and power. He is a complete running back and is NFL ready.
-
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
Like the Cowboys, cornerback is a huge concern for the Bucs. With Jalen Ramsey most likely not falling out of the top 5, expect Tampa to go for the next best thing in Hargreaves. Another solid corner coming out of a Florida college, Hargreaves is an instinctive corner who is smart and talented enough to make waves early for this NFL team.
-
New York Giants – Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
Former 2015 first round pick Ereck Flowers struggled heavily at left tackle last season. Conklin has the position to be an improvement at the position, utilizing his size, strength and athleticism to make Eli Manning’s last few years safer ones.
11. Chicago Bears – Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State
12. New Orleans Saints – Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
13. Miami Dolphins – Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson
14. Oakland Raiders – Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
15. Tennessee Titans – Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
16. Detroit Lions – Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama
17. Atlanta Falcons – Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
18. Indianapolis Colts – Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky
19. Buffalo Bills – Reggie Ragland, MLB, Alabama
20. New York Jets – Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
21. Washington – Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama
22. Houston Texans – Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame
Although Houston already has Deandre Hopkins, they just signed Brock Osweiler and Lamar Miller and are missing one more receiving threat to potentially have a dangerous offense apart of their repertoire. Will Fuller has the size, speed, and soft hands to complement Hopkins and force opponents to play one-on-one defense against both WR.
23. Minnesota Vikings – Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss*
24. Cincinnati Bengals – Josh Doctson, WR, TCU*
25. Pittsburgh Steelers – William Jackson III, CB, Houston
26. Seattle Seahawks – Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana
27. Green Bay Packers – Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor
28. Kansas City Chiefs – Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State
29. Arizona Cardinals – Karl Joseph, SS, West Virginia
30. Carolina Panthers – Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
31. Denver Broncos – Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
*Baylor’s Corey Coleman also could be in either one of these spots as he has the speed and the hands to supplement both teams’ needs. Carolina also has needs at WR and make take a chance if he falls to #30.
